I've never been more disgusted with this country than I am at the moment. The treachery and skullduggery of the Trudeau government is astonishing. Like you said, he unfortunately will not face consequences for his actions. I wish I could say I was confident about the trial, something tells me the jury is going to fall for the Crown's bull shit.
Nice homage to your grand father. My grandfather enlisted but was turned down because he had a scar over his eye thanks to an errand swing from a batter when he was a catcher in a baseball game. Today they let anyone in it seems.
As for the USA, sometimes I wonder which country/government is worse where assaults on our civil rights are concerned. The U.S. in some ways because they're supposed to be the beacon on the hill and have the Constitution. There should be no mercy for anyone calling for curtailing freedom of speech or owning guns but there is. And it's pretty vicious.
Here, we not only rendered the Charter 'Moot' - to borrow a term from our feckless courts (and we're not going to get into Wagner here and his constant public outburst showing bias - in recent weeks Liberal MPs have been out there on the attack attempting to scare Canadians into believe Poilievre is going to end the Charter and that they're the only ones who could 'defend it'.

The gaslighting is nuclear level.
A masterpiece Gord. Well done!
You’re making me blush!
A blushing trucker, now that's a new one. :)
Read my article on autogynophilia. That's sure to make anyone blush.
Blush, or wretch their guts?
