As an Ottawa resident I made it my choice, first to visit the Convoy, which confirmed for me the lies I suspected the media, particularly CBC, and Trudeau were telling about it. I also decided to attend and follow the trial of Tamara and Chris. As I sat through it day after day all I saw a minutiae of evidence of videos, TikToks and text messages the Crown presented to somehow weave a story of not so peaceful protest, but did not produce a shred of evidence to prove the guilt of either Tamara or Chris. It was a joke and would be laughable if both weren't facing potential jail sentences and Chris losing a piece of his life, his heart and his business in Big Red. The vindictiveness coming from this Crown, we all know is top down and the word he is getting is crush them. These two are the examples they want held up to the rest of these rowdy so called freedom fighters. Because according to Trudeau -- his very words, he doesn't mind protests he 'supports' like Black Lives Matter, but he finds protests challenging government policy "worrisome." And indeed they were very worrisome to him and to his authoritarian nature. So with injured pride and a vendetta he and now his government won't let go, the punishment -- as an example to others continues. Quite frankly, if he could, he probably would hang them.

Asset forfeiture is an evil and stupid idea that is a slippery slope to corruption for police and politicians. To use it against someone charged with mischief is both evil and insane. The irony of using mischief, which is a charge related to property rights, as a justification for the asset seizure is staggering, as we don’t actually have any property rights: Trudeau v1.0 purposely left them out of the constitution, the better to assist government to take your property whenever it suits.

Seizing Chris Barber's truck, inmprisoning him, is symbolic to show that the government is all powerful and will punish, in the way of Stalinist Russia.

Since Carney was behind all the processes involved against the people and the truckers, life in Canada will only become more challenging and difficult if the Liberals are elected. Carney labelled those who peacefully opposed the government as 'sidicious' - in Canada! Canadians- some of the most peaceful folks on earth but then, do not Chris Barber and Tamara Lich look like dangerous criminals?

If they remove your ability to make an honest living... start making a dishonest one. No one tells you this, but laws are optional! You can just break them as long as you don't get caught! What black markets are available in Punjab Canadia these days?

How long before people who supported the Truckers are made to wear Yellow Arm Bands. They already seized assets. It will spread to everyone as they lock down dissent. Carney just gave his followers a Nazi salute. This is scary stuff, time to take out money from the c/m banks before they seize it

Is there a way for Americans to help any of them with legal costs. It must be so expensive.
