Another great installment — keep up the good work!
Just have to say that I truly, deeply hate the term “anarcho-tyranny” though. (I know it's not your term but was coined by Samuel Francis as you point out and has been used by many others.) Anarchy just means a decentralized, non-hierarchical, and non-coercive form of social order.
I understand what Francis was trying to describe with “anarcho-tyranny,” but it is just a maddeningly non-sensical term. What he was talking about would be better described as a kind of authoritarian kakistocracy guided by critical theory. (Of course I realize that “anarcho-tyranny” sounds punchier though.)
Frog-Canadian ici, and I'm sick to death of them. I hate what these bastards are doing to our nation, they're the reason jobs are scarce, the economy is shot, national divorce is once more on the table, our reputation world-wide is a joke and our 'democracy' and 'selection' process is utterly tarnished.
Ugh, I think I'm gonna get back to writing my substack's serial fantasy novels, much better to lose myself in that than anger agains this disaster of a government.
It would appear we have Palterists covering the Coutts trial, not journalists.
"Paltering is the active use of selective truthful statements to mislead. ... Paltering is considered both more serious and more common than a lie of omission (a passive failure to correct a wrong statement)."
Yes, that was a great post! I am a fairly new follower of your stack, and I was thrilled to finally find someone reporting on what was going on with all the people charged during the Freedom Convoy.
I didn't even know what (or who!) the Coutts Four was until I found your articles. I was vaguely aware of the MSM line on the affair, but had more or less ignored it since most of what they report is basically just a huge distraction from what's really going on in the world these days. I realize there are some Facebook and Twitter groups following Convoy fallout, but since I don't subscribe to either, it's been really hard to get good info.
It's been very informative to get caught up on what's going on through you and the Intrepid Viking. Good work all around!!!
Yup, it was a new word for me too. I was trying to find a term for "lies of omission." Paltering works. Should be a word finding its way into our collective vocabulary - there's certainly plenty of it going around.
Everything about the Canadian government is corrupt, and they’ll do anything to hide it

I hear you; spent a lot of time in libertarian right anarchist world myself as a young man.
This is why I look forward to the MSM going belly up. Faster, Faster! Professional propagandists and deceivers.

Thank you for your continuing coverage of this travesty, Gord. May the best men win... and I think they will.

Thanks for reading, and this new to me term, Paltering.

100 %. Thanks for providing accurate reporting on this issue.
