Ask Us Anything! on Automated Vehicle Technology
A Discord Based Live Recorded Podcast AMA open to all.
Greetings, readers and listeners of Autonomous Truck(er)s and the Voice Of GO(r)D podcast!
In conjunction with Reed Loustalot of LostFr8 and the LostFr8 Discord Freight and Logistics discussion group, we would like to invite you to participate in an Ask Us Anything session within that Discord group, where you can fire questions or comments at myself, and previous guests of Voice Of GO(r)D investigating the Autonomous Vehicle Tech phenomenon.
The Ask Us Anything will be live on Tuesday, September 19, at 8pm Eastern, and if you can’t make it, it will be recorded and released as a podcast the following week.
To sign up for the LostFr8 Discord server, you can register here - https://www.pleaseadvisory.com/
Thus far I have released two Roundtable discussions featuring James Year, Will Cook, Scott Douglass, and Edward Escobar, who will all be present to answer your questions at the AUA.
If you have yet to hear those episodes, get up to date below!
James Year is a post graduate student at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, and has done a great deal of work documenting worker communities affected by automation, and investigating the companies rolling this technology out across the country
You can find James here and you can also hear him on this latest episode of The Lombard Trucking Podcast - it’s a Banger, and probably one of James’ best public appearances to date, with a great set of questions from Lombard.
Will Cook and Scott Douglass are truckers and the Big Cheeses behind America Without Drivers, an advocacy group seeking to have the government and society take a closer look at what will happen when Autonomous Technology hits our roads.
You can find America Without Drivers here and on Facebook
Edward Escobar is the founder of AiW - Alliance for Independent Workers and WCPDA - Wine Country Pro Drivers Alliance, Owner/Operator Black Level Services SUV/LIMO, and is a public speaker on automation and the future of work.

We all look forward to hearing from you next Tuesday, wether you be a freight nerd, a fellow podcaster, trucker, someone in the media, a mole within the Autonomous Tech industry who wants to remain anonymous, or just a curious onlooker, all are welcome and encouraged to join.
