Hello and Happy New Year to all readers and fans of Autonomous Truck(er)s.
Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know that my new podcast, Voice Of GO(r)D, is now live. I have an intro episode to describe what VOG is all about, and 3 great interviews right out of the gate.
Voice Of GO(r)D is where I will interview many of the writers, truckers, academics, and numerous wonderful weirdos who make up the various threads which I try to pull together here on this substack, and I hope you find it informative and enjoyable to listen to.
This project is, in part, a gift to my fellow truckers. I will take no ads or sponsors, nor ask for any money - there’s just so many interesting people and perspectives within and around our industry and our livelihoods that it behooves me to make their ideas and stories available to you, and that is basically the mission of the show. All I ask is that if you know any truckers, pass this along to them.
I’m hoping to put shows out at the frequency of 1 to 2 a week. I have enough pre-recorded to get us through another month, and enough guests booked to see us through to summer. Then who knows where this rig is going to roll?
If you find that I’ve made a mistake somewhere, or have any criticisms, praise, suggestions or comments, by all means, send them along to me directly -
gordilocks@protonmail.com
or come and find me on Twitter.
You can find me on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, SoundCloud, and PodVerse
Thanks for listening, and I appreciate your patience with the delays in written content.
I’ve been very busy with two paid writing commissions, Christmas Holidays, Trucking, and Family. I have at least 3 articles ready to bang out of my head and get on to this Substack - finding time eludes me, but I promise you, I’m working on it.
Gord
I trust you will at some point publish the bare RSS feed, which is the one and only thing anyone needs in order to subscribe? (One does not need, for example, “Apple Podcasts.”) And if you’re going to do that, you have to publish it everywhere you mention any other platform, since podcasts do not need “platforms.”
