Good Morning, and Happy Sunday, on this 14th day of January, and 14th day of Foul Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Twenty Four (or 5784 for our Jewish friends, and 1984 in observable lived reality).
Let’s get right into the news from North of The Border.
Chris Carbert, one of Canada’s political prisoners arrested at the Coutts, Alberta Freedom Convoy protest site almost two years ago, on February 13, 2022, is finally hearing a decision on a bail application made last year. Carbert and the other men have been held in remand since being arrested, and originally denied bail by a Liberal Party hack judge who used an Orwellian excuse to keep the men behind bars.
Justice Johnna Kubik will forever be remembered as the catalyst for bringing Guantanamo Bay to Alberta.
We will not forgive, we will not forget.
The decision will be announced in Lethbridge, Alberta, tomorrow, January 15, after several court dates stretching back to last year. The way the court system works in Canada is found in microcosm with Carbert’s bail application process - there was a court date in December to set another court date in January to set yet another court date to actually announce the ruling.
That’s right - three different court dates just to get to the point.
As they say, the process is the punishment, and the lawyers are laughing all the way to the bank, and directly in our faces while they work for the state, just like the media does.
It remains to be seen how the ruling will go, though it seems unlikely that bail will be granted, as the circumstances of the case haven’t changed. The recent “Open the Envelope” drama went nowhere, and whatever exonerating evidence or ‘Crime Fraud’ that was to be found within remains under wraps. I have very little faith that Carbert will be released, as the government cannot have these guys outside the walls of jail, raising funds for proper legal representation, and, while out on bail, subverting the government’s bogus narrative of being dangerous criminals.
I pray to be surprised and proven wrong, and would ask that you do as well.
For more information on Carbert’s situation, his family has set up his very own Facebook page, which can be found here.
Speaking of family, it is worth recalling that several members of Chris Carbert’s passed on while he has been held in remand, and he was denied leave to attend services*. Over and above all of that, the people really being punished here are his kids.
Later this month, a Freedom Convoy anniversary fundraiser is taking place in Lethbridge, details of which can be found on this Facebook group and the image below -
As always, donations to obtain the men decent legal representation, which has eluded them thus far, are always welcome.
The men live for letters written to them, which you can send at the following addresses - plain paper, black or blue ink, no stickers or gifts or cards or anything that is not plain paper.
*I have heard that Carbert may have been offered leave under the condition he attend those services in prison garb and shackles, which just goes to show that there is no bottom to the vindictive nature of our rulers. If this is the case, he was correct to reject leave under those conditions.

Many of you would have seen this incident last week, but in case you missed it -
Welcome to Canada, where the few reporters around who engage in the task of holding power to account are assaulted by the RCMP.
Watching this would have brought many people a sense of Déjà Vu, taking us back to Mounties on Horseback trampling protesters in Ottawa, Mounties laying beatdowns on those seeking redress from a government out of control, Mounties and Ottawa City Police smashing the windows of trucks.
It appears that all charges against the reporter, David Menzies of Rebel News, were unconditionally dropped, and the fascist fuck cop who grabbed Menzies is being placed under review.
Good thing there was video of the incident, and that it went viral, otherwise the nice officer might get away with this and be free to attack other journalists.
I’m really looking forward to the review of every officer who took part in crushing the Freedom Convoy with needless violence. /sarc

A number of Charter Challenges have been launched against the government of Canada in recent times, specifically in regards to the abrogation of Canadian’s rights and freedoms, nominally guaranteed under The Charter, by the wicked and evil Covid Regime of Justin Trudeau.
One of the more infamous challenges was launched by the last remaining author and signatory to the Charter, the Honorable Brian Peckford, former Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Peckford’s original Charter Challenge was denied and ruled ‘moot’ by a judiciary in Canada who have imported the American proclivity for judicial activism, rather than following the letter of the law.
He is now taking the fight to The Supreme Court of Canada.
From the Justice Center for Constitutional Freedoms -
In November 2021, the Government of Canada required all travelers of federally regulated transportation services (e.g., air, rail, and marine) to provide proof of Covid vaccination. These restrictions on the Charter freedom of mobility prevented approximately 5.2 million unvaccinated Canadians from traveling by air and rail.
In response to these restrictions, the Honourable Brian Peckford (last living signatory of the Charter and former Premier of Newfoundland), the Honourable Maxime Bernier (leader of the People’s Party of Canada), and other Canadians took the federal government to court in February 2022, arguing that the Charter freedoms of religion and conscience, assembly, democratic rights, mobility, security, privacy, and equality of Canadians were infringed by these restrictions.
In June 2022, the Government of Canada announced that it would suspend the travel vaccine restrictions, but that it would not hesitate to reinstate the mandates if the government considered it necessary.
As a result, the federal government (the Crown) moved to have Premier Peckford’s constitutional challenge struck for mootness (irrelevance). The Crown argued that the travel restrictions were no longer a live issue because they had been lifted and should not, therefore, take up further court resources.
Even though the federal government can impose these same travel restrictions on Canadians again, without notice, the Federal Court granted the Crown’s motion on November 9, 2023, and dismissed this Charter challenge as moot.
Premier Peckford, Maxime Bernier, and other Canadians now seek to have the Supreme Court of Canada hear their case.
Justin Trudeau imposed a system of Medical Apartheid on the citizens of the second largest country on Earth over a virus that had negligible effect on the vast majority of the population, and in a better world, this would have been settled long ago, employing methods which would have given Robespierre pause for concern.
I wish Peckford + Co the best of luck, though I remain skeptical that we will ever see any accountability for what went on during this darkest period in Canadian history.
Our ruling class have insulated themselves from the rest of us, and the system, such as it is, does not function for the people it is ostensibly meant to serve.
When it does function, it functions for the rulers and the rulers alone.

In 2024, Canada has an internet that functions more like that found in North Korea, thanks to the efforts of Herr Trudeau and the blatant authoritarianism which flowed from the passing of Bills C-11 and C-18. Due to the pissfight Trudeau started with companies like Meta, people can’t share many articles on social media, like my sister, who was told by Facebook that due to C-18, she couldn’t share any of the articles I have written for Newsweek, such as this piece here on The Coutts 4.
Not satisfied with the current level of darkness which has descended on Canada, certain parties within the government want to dim the lights even further, this time by smuggling in ever more controls on the Internet using concern for children as cover.
Remember, the Liberal Party of Canada and NDP are full throated supporters of the Tranny Rainbow Regime, where they are very happy to butcher young children and render them incapable of reproduction for the rest of their lives, and if that doesn’t turn out as planned, simply offer them assisted suicide.
From Michael Geist, on Bill S-210, which seeks to use age verification as a cover for ever more control of the internet for those of all ages -
Bill S-210 – the Protecting Young Persons from Exposure to Pornography Act – burst onto the public scene late last year as a majority of the House voted for the bill at second reading, sending it to the Public Safety committee for review. The bill, which is the brainchild of Senator Julie Miville-Duchêne ….
Not only does Bill S-210 cast its net far wider than just adult content sites, but that is seemingly exactly what the lobby group representing age verification technology providers – the lead lobbyist for this kind of legislation worldwide – actively promotes. In response to the recent concerns about the Canadian law, the Age Verification Providers Association posted on the bill and stated the following about the need for a broad scope:
Confining attempts to protect children from pornography to only dedicated adult sites would be to miss the social media platforms where research (from Ofcom and others) has shown that most children are first exposed to this hardcore material. Age assurance need only be applied when users wish to see content that is adult in nature, not simply to access a platform in the first place. For young people, social media platforms are the Internet; typing “www…” is something their parents do – they are on X, Snap, Insta and Twitch.
In other words, the unlimited scope of the Canadian law to sites such as Twitter, Snap, Instagram, Twitch and many others is no accident. If the lead lobby group behind the legislation gets its way, it is the stated goal of Bill S-210 to require all Canadians to undergo an age verification system in order to access content on general purpose sites with the threat of penalties and site blocking awaiting those sites that refuse to comply. Despite claims that this approach is becoming increasingly common, other jurisdictions, notably including Australia, have rejected the age verification approach altogether. As I noted late last year, it may have started in obscurity, but Bill S-210 is a dangerous bill that raises serious risks to privacy, freedom of expression, and censorship in Canada.
Though it appears Cabinet has signaled disapproval of S-210, knowing these ghouls, this is probably because S-210 doesn’t go hard enough for them.
Protecting kids from online abusers is obviously a noble and worthy goal, but when you consider the source, the history of this government, and their full throated support of the butchery of children by the Rainbow Regime, you need to take this bill with not only a pinch of salt, but the entire salt deposit found below most of Upstate New York, Ontario, and Michigan.

The trial of Guy Meisner, a trucker from Nova Scotia who was one of the very first charged once the crackdown began after Trudeau’s invocation of the Emergency Measures Act, resumed a week and a half ago.
For more information on Guy, read my friend Donna’s substack here -
As I understand it, after Guy’s court dates resumed, they were punted down the line yet again and are set to resume Thursday, February 8th.
This will be the ninth trip Guy will have to make from his home in Nova Scotia to Ottawa to deal with these stupid and vindictive charges; the process in his punishment racking up some serious carbon intensity at approximately 2600km per round trip.
Not that anything Trudeau says about the climate, or his commitments to it, contain a single grain of truth.

I’ve been recently made aware of the work of a chap online that goes by the name Amazing Zoltan, who appears to be one of the small group of alternative media Freedom Fighters operating in Canada.
He has made a pretty compelling hour-ish long presentation here, juxtaposing Trudeau’s treatment of the Freedom Convoy with his absolutely incompetent governance, as exemplified by the proliferation of homelessness, tent cities, and opioid addiction across Canada.
It’s actually quite sad to watch, as many of these tent encampments are popping up in smaller places like Penticton and Kelowna, and not just the usual and unfortunately expected decrepitude found in Toronto or Vancouver.
The Honking will Continue until the Freedom Improves.

You also may have heard about farmers and truckers now engaged in massive protests over in Germany.
A great Substack account to follow in that regard is
Today, he brings us an update on developments in Deutschland -
There are many good photos paired with the excellent reportage, and it appears Berlin has some serious Freedom Convoy vibes going on. Take the time to check Eugyppius’ article out.
The German truckers and farmers definitely have the support of this Kanadischer LKV-Fahrer!
Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for more updates as the cold molasses of (in)Justice moves at the speed of retreating glaciers, revealing the hard granite of the Canadian character in the process.
