I’ve only been podcasting for a little under two weeks now, so bear with me as I experiment with various flavors of posting and re-posting content.
Today I released two episodes, one this morning, and one later this evening, just before typing this and just after getting my children to bed.
There are enough similarities between the subject matter of the two shows that I thought I would bundle them together with some relevant commentary.
Both shows deal with truckers, and with ‘democracy’; in the first, it is critiqued by two truckers, both of whom write here at Substack - myself, and Based UK Trucker Graham Brown, aka The Lorryist.
Graham went over how Tories continue to allow The EU to dictate to the UK in spite of Brexit being a done deal, and how calls for an end to mass migration into The UK are being ignored, mostly by bureaucrats of the administrative state. Critics of said administrative state such as James Burnham, Curtis Yarvin, and Academic Agent, are cited and discussed.

In the second show of the day, I spoke with United States Congressman Jefferson Van Drew, mostly about his co-sponsorship of The Guaranteeing Overtime For Truckers Act. Those of you who have been following this Substack know that I have written extensively in defense of this act, and would like to see the bill passed.
As the subheading suggests, this is the ‘partake’ section of this post. It’s not very often some nobody like me gets to speak directly with a Congressman, and given the opportunity, I had to make the most of my voice in the short time available. I think I did alright for a rookie podcaster working for the very first time on an information campaign for a Bill before Congress.
If you are new here and haven’t read up on the GOT Act -
Thanks for listening, and as always, if you know a trucker, please send this along to them, and if you are a policy advisor for some member of Congress or The Senate and are here to do some research, please have a read through all of my material, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions; or, heaven forbid, you need someone who isn’t an American Trucking Association Lackey to testify on this bill in your hallowed chamber.
