Coutts Four Fundraising Update

Its Modest but is being delivered. Plus, two major media appearances.

A quick update for my readership regards the GiveSendGo fundraising campaign I started for the men.

It’s taken me some time to organize a conduit to get the funds to the men.

GSG only makes one payout per campaign, and it is up to any campaign raising money for multiple parties to divvy up the proceeds themselves. This was further complicated by the fact that I am now a resident of the United States; banks in Canada, even CIBC, with whom I still have existing accounts, would not let me set up my own new trust account to send the money to the men. I tried having a lawyer help me, and bank managers I spoke with in three different provinces, to no avail.

I did find a person who wishes to remain anonymous to help me handle disbursement, and those disbursements began this morning. Due to transfer limits set by the banks, the donations raised thus far and distributed to all four men or their advocates are going to take a few days, but its happening.

All that said, the campaign will remain open and accepting donations for the foreseeable future. Chris Carbert and Tony Olienick remain in custody, and their pre-trial hearings resume in less than two weeks. In a perfect world, Crown Prosecutor Steven Johnston would realize that he’s got nothing, and drop the charges. He answers to a different master than the rest of us, however, thus logic, reason, and justice, are not on the table for his decisions.

Legal bills have piled up for all four men, and until all of those accounts are settled, and various needs for the men, when they all walk free, are also met, the campaign will close.

I want to thank any of you who donated, shared my articles, or said a prayer on the mens behalf, from the bottom of my heart. The men and their advocates have also expressed gratitude to me and all of you; your generosity and concern have meant the world to them.

Y’all raised 37k $CDN, which is nothing to sneeze it, though won’t be nearly enough to fight Leviathan if this case carries on any further.

Beans will be spilled in contravention of the pre-trial hearing publication ban, because the Crown are a bunch of evil cunts, and because I am in America, and their self-serving, censorious ban doesn’t apply to me.
